Frequently asked questions
Is the restaurant website really free?
Yes. You can build and publish it for free, on an address like yourrestaurant.yourweb4free.com, with a small “Made with YourWeb4Free” note at the very bottom of your site. The Essential plan (€11.95 a month, VAT included) gives you your own domain (for example, yourrestaurant.co.uk) and removes the note.
Can customers book a table on the website?
The site doesn't have a booking system. Guests book by phone, on WhatsApp or with a form that arrives in your email. If you already use a booking website, you can add a button that goes to it.
How do I add my menu?
Your main dishes show as cards, each with a short line and a rough price if you like. To change them, just ask the assistant, for example “add the lamb shank”. There's no full menu feature and you can't upload a PDF. If your menu is somewhere else, add a button that goes to it.
Can the site be in more than one language?
Yes. On the Business plan (€29.95 a month, VAT included) your site can be in several languages. Handy if you get lots of visitors from abroad.
Will my restaurant show up on Google?
Your site comes set up so Google can find it. You can also add links to your Google Business Profile and map. But nobody can promise you a particular spot on Google.
