How much does a website for my flower shop cost?
Nothing. You can make it and put it online for free, with an address like yourflorist.yourweb4free.com and a small “Made with YourWeb4Free” note at the very bottom of your site. If you want your own domain (for example, yourflorist.co.uk) and no note, the Essential plan is €11.95 a month including VAT.
Can customers buy and pay for flowers on the site?
No. There's no online shop, basket or payments. Customers ask for an order by WhatsApp, by phone or with the form, and you confirm it and take payment. If you already have an online shop elsewhere, you can add a button that takes people there.
Can I say that I deliver?
Yes, in your own words: which areas you cover, how much notice you need and whether you deliver to funeral directors. The site doesn't work out delivery costs. You arrange delivery yourself.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on the Essential plan or above. You buy your own domain from any company that sells them and then connect it to your site.
Will my flower shop show up on Google?
Your site comes set up so Google can find it. It's quick and looks good on phones. You can also add a link to your Google Maps listing. Nobody can promise you the top spot, but you start off on the right foot.
