How much does a website for my tutoring business cost?
Nothing. You can make it and put it online for free, with an address like yourtutoring.yourweb4free.com and a small “Made with YourWeb4Free” note at the very bottom of your site. If you want your own domain (for example, yourtutoring.co.uk) and no note, the Essential plan is €11.95 a month including VAT.
Can students sign up or book classes on the website?
No. People can't sign up or book classes on the site. Families get in touch by WhatsApp, phone or the contact form, and you sort out the rest. If you already use a sign-up tool, you can add a button that takes them to it.
Can I teach online courses through the site?
No. The site shows your school and courses, but it can't hold lessons or videos. If you teach online with another tool, you can mention it and add a button that takes people there.
Can I have my own domain?
Yes, on the Essential plan or above. You buy your own domain (for example, yourtutoring.co.uk) from any company you like and connect it to your site.
Will my tutoring centre show up on Google?
Your site comes set up so Google can find it. It loads quickly and looks good on phones. You can also link to your Google Maps listing. Nobody can promise you the top spot, but you start off on the right foot.
